Many ABE students may have come through conflict or abuse situation resulting in problems that can interfere with learning, this may present itself in cognitive issues, fatigue, and other symptoms displayed as other deficits. By the end of the session, participants will be able to identify signs and signals that may be of value in them assisting students. Participants will be provided with strategies to deal with and help students.
